Should I Get Travel Insurance To Thailand For 2 Weeks?
My family and I are going with a tour to Thailand for 14 days. The tour does give us some days to do our own thing and it doesn’t include lunch meals. I’ve never been to Thailand, and I’m not sure if a travel insurance is needed. Any advices?

Whenever you travel abroad you need travel insurance that includes a good health option too.
Good travel insurance will cover such things as:
Lost luggage
Flight delays
Medical cover in case of accident, emergency, illnesses, etc but be sure to inform the insurers if you have any existing health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure or anything else.
If you are ill or have an accident in Thailand (or any other Asian country the health and hospital bills can be very expensive)
I am with an Insurance company and travel to Thailand quite extensively . I have never needed to make a claim ( despite having coverage ) as all has been well . If you ask me if it is absolutely necessary then the answer is actually no as medical coverage isn’t that high compared to western countries
However we always buy it dont we ? The reason is simple for PEACE OF MIND ! I have never had problems with luggage or being ill etc but then the premiums for this part of the world wont cost an arm and a leg so why not ?
Buying travel insurance can protect you from the loss of non-refundable travel costs, including airfare, hotel and tour expenses..
