hi joe we have a lot of cheap hotel in Pattaya thailand , it goes from 5.67 euros per night to 30 euros per night...

1. Grand Palace
2. Ayutthaya (old Thai capital about an hour north of Bangkok, hundreds of ancient ruins from clashes with the Burmese)
3. As the first person said, the south and its beaches are beautiful and the water is warm, although i wouldnt recommend Pattaya if you arent into the night life. Hua Hin is wonderful and so is Cha Am (about 30 minutes north of Hua Hin). if youre looking for budget, Cha Am is about the best deal in Thailand as far as beach towns go.
4. As the 2nd person said, elephant camps are always a hit
5. Lop Buri and the monkeys. a wat (temple) that you can walk around and have monkeys take corn, banasas and peanuts right from your hand.
6. Khao Yai National Park (do NOT get out of your car near these monkeys with food in your hand, they are not tame like the ones in Lop Buri)
7. Floating Market, but make sure youre going to the REAL floating market. some taxi drivers will take you to a copy cat one that is a rip off.
8. Samutprakarn Crocodile Farm. about 30-45 minutes south of Bangkok and quite a show. see two completely insane people wrestle with crocs and stick their heads in the crocs mouths, you can get your picture taken sitting next to a tiger, LITERALLY next to it to the degree that you can pet it, same with a leopard and a monkey. you can also get your picture taken next to a croc, but they dont allow you to touch it for obvious reasons, actually, youre not next to it like you are the other animals …. its more like youre sitting behind it. also has an elephant show and about 30 different species of crocs you never knew existed. come to think of it, i shouldve listed this one closer to the top.
youll love Thailand, the Thai people are the best. one small bit of advice, dont take a tuk tuk (3 wheeled taxi) …. they are tourist traps and a rip off, plus you sit outside and get to suck in that wonderful Bangkok smog and car exhaust. the only taxis you should ever get in have a big sign on the top that reads TAXI METER. if it does not say “taxi meter” you will be ripped off (not in a criminal way, just saying they will overcharge you)
try
- bangkok
- the grand palace
- ayutthaya
- suan lum night bazaar (lots of cheap buys!)
- chen mai (nature tripping!)
actually, u can try checking some online travel agencies. they offer packages that include hotel accommodations, city tours, even airline fares – all at one price. for the budget.. i’m not really sure, because it depends on how much you’ll be spending. but try to bring extra cash.. just in case. hope this will help. =)
Do you want beaches? How about:
Phuket
Samui
Hua Hin
Pattaya
Bangkok is awesome, and very cheap.
Check out expedia.com for some cheap hotels, I’ve seen soome for about $20.00 bucks a night.
Have Fun
Must visit Chen Mei, home of the elephants.
