How Much Money To Bring For Two Days And Two Nights In Bangkok?
Hi! this is connected with my query here about the thai-cambodia travel. After crossing the border, we still have two days and two nights stay in bangkok. What would be a good monetary estimate for our remaining days and nights of stay in bangkok? (accomodation, food, night life, night market, cultural spots, etc.)
Thanks very much in advance! ![]()

Why not splurge for Bangkok? If you tell us how much you have available and then ask if it is enough that helps. If not, how much per night do you want to pay for a hotel?
You don’t mention the type of hotel you will need, where you usually eat or what type of entertainment you will involve yourself in. Are you really into cheap dives and budget hostels or do you want a hotel? Hotels with air, private toilet and shower, TV and maid service are from around 600 baht on up to 6000 baht per night in Bangkok. You can eat breakfast for as little as 68 baht (Western meal, ABF, in a Foodland Supermarket restaurant, Soi 5, Sukhumvit, Road) or 600 baht in a posh place. Of course then there is cheap street food too!
My advice is to get a hotel near the Skytrain route. This way you can use that overhead rail service to get around town. Lots of restaurants, bars, travel agencies for tours, supermarkets, malls and street vendors in that area. Perhaps near the Nana Skytrain area.
For money, perhaps from $50 US to $200 US per day will do. But it depends on what you want!
Good luck.
I just answer your question about spending 4 nights in Bangkok, and now it’s 2. What’s the deal? No one can give you a good estimate based on the little information you give, so I would say $10 to $200 depending on what type of hotel and what type of nigh life you are looking for.
It would cost you around $500.
$350-$500 and you will live like a king.
