No. Smoking was banned at indoor bars in February 2008. There are heavy fines for bars that don’t comply, so overnight smoking has disappeared indoors... - Daily Budget In Thailand?

There is an up-market lesbian club in RCA, last I heard that was the place to go for that. There is also a row of gay/lesbian bars (probably mostly gay) in Patpong. I would be wary of going there. There is a smoothie shop in that area that is lesbian owned and operated that has good food, good smoothies and is western friendly.
Other places I have heard about, but have no way of knowing if they are still operating or not are:
China Journal (Thonglor); Cool Bar (Viphavadi Rd); Imageries (Sukhumvit Soi 24) long Oey, (Soi Aree); Vega (Sukhumvit Soi 39); Warehouse (Prachachuen).
I lived near Cool Bar some time ago, and back then it looked like a happening place.
Finally, I saw a T shirt when I lived in Nonthaburi (outside bangkok) it said- Let’s get one thing straight- I’m not
Thought it was cute, I hope you and your friend have a screaming good time while you are here.
Fire in ur eye- dude, you have some MEGA issues. Don’t worry about that kind of thing, and no there is no vast conspiracy to prey on foriegn tourists here.

Fire is nuts. I’ve lived here 3 1/2 years. Basically Americans are liked. Pattaya is most gay friendly place, but basically the whole country is. It’s also much safer here than most Main Street USA places.
In Bangkok yes, there is a night club in the RCA area that has a lesbian night, no men allowed, ( i wish i could go)
I lived in samui for 4 years and never seen any lesbian only places, but in any bar the girls are very friendly to male or female customers,
Whilst in samui check out the green mango complex in Charwing, sound club and the Reggae bar, and Bauhaus in lamai beach for the only Foam party on the island.
enjoy
There are lesbian girls in some places and in beerbars are sometimes bisexual girls.
But the like I post here may help you more.
its thailand love, be real
There are plenty of bars and clubs–finding one that doesn’t drug the American customers and rob them–well that’s a chance you have to take. And licking on a 14 year old girl is an example of the lure that traps Americans—it is a long jail term for doing kids–even if THEY lie about their age–the good old police are looking for big American money to buy your way out of jail—reality is tough–kiddy sex of all kinds is a big business—but it really can trap you—-NO BAIL—NO MERCY unless you have cash. Talking is all you intend to do?? That drink may be drugged and you are in big trouble–I wouldn’t be surprised if the embassy people were getting a cut of the money paid to get home–seems like they always have a way to get you out for a fee. BE CAREFUL This war has a lot of people hating Americans again. watch out for motorbike gangs–drive by theft–ice picks in the back–all kinds of tricks
