There are at least two main reasons that I know of. First is that Thai culture favors fair skin as a sign of beauty and social class. Dark skin, particularly for women but also for men, is considered less attractive. Second is that Indians have a reputation for being cheap in Thailand. Whether or not that is a well earned reputation I don’t know, but that is the perception by many Thais. So you put together unattractive and cheap and you have the Thai girls running in the opposite direction. Perhaps unfair but that seems to be how many of them feel.
Yet he is still looking for Thai girls?
So strange, I wouldn’t pay any attention to ones I don’t like.
