Try the Post Office or a branch Thomas Cook. The larger branches of these should be able to help you.
Don’t use a High Street bank because you’ll get the worst exchange rate.
Preferably find a friend who’s going to Thailand and sell hime the money for ‘cost’.

I’ve looked at places like Thailand, etc. They offer such fantastic value for money, but the climate at that time of year is very wet.
Maldives is apparently changing from wet to dry monsoon during October and November – and I’m not sure what that means! Will that be wet?

I know that the most famous places for elephant trekking are the northern provinces, like Chiangmai and Chiangrai, but we don’t have time to go up there. I’m not necessarily looking for trekking, but at least a ride. And if we could find waterfalls somewhere within driving distance of Bangkok, that would great.

In Thailand, I used to go to places like Route 66 and Casino where you could sit outside or in a covered area with tables and you could buy a bottle of whisky or vodka to drink with your friends.
Can you recommend any places similar to that in Beijing? I’d love some good music, dance floor optional, but a place to sit and purchasable bottle is a must.

I need to get an information how and where can be marriage registration held for both non-residents, like in my case i am from Uzbekistan, (part of former USSR) and my fiancee is from Thailand, and we are NOT residents nor citizen of USA, and would like to get married here in US, is there any law in registration of such kind of marriage? Plus, we are expecting baby and would like to register birth certificate in proper way.
