I am trying to watch TV shows that are “only available in the USA” on sidereel.com which link to Hulu. I am in Thailand. I’ve tried using several proxy servers, but none will display the video. Some say I must enable Java, but it is enabled so I assume this is a problem with the proxy. Are there any proxy’s that work? Or other ways around this?

I think that the price you guys above are quoting is the price for Thai nationals. A few things in Thailand (like it or not) have dual pricing – the idea being that Thai people live in a relatively poor (well not super rich) country and so do not have as much money as tourists from wealthier countries. Therefore they are charged a lower price. I’m not saying the system of dual pricing is good or bad (and it doesn’t apply to many things, gnerally only tourist attractions, for example Muang Boran being another one) but I think the ringside price for a non-Thai national is Baht 1,600. I’m just guessing here, but I suspect that Dean is not a Thai national. Interesting discussion though, I’ll double-check my info., but I’m pretty sure.
[Added 9 hours later: Given that my understanding is different to the people above, I phoned Lumpini this morning to check. The rate for non-Thai for ring-side has now gone up to Baht2,000. Standing (2nd class) is now Baht 1,500. Sat/Sun - 2 matches, the first from 5pm until 8pm & the second from 8:30 - midnight. Mon-Fri, 1 match, 6:30-10pm. ]

Im in thailand too … from usa … I watch usa shows through a vpn connection provided by Hotspot Shield from Anchorfree (google to locate free download). This service connects you through usa IPs so I dont know if it will work for uk shows??? It’s totally free but they place annoying ads at top of your browser, which you can easily close down (I use AdBlocker in Firefox to get rid of ads).
Maybe there is a similar service in uk???

There will be other places showing it too. The game will be early in the morning so if it is a bar they would have to open early. Sometimes a Thai TV station will also broadcast but in Thai only.

I haven’t gotten my True Vision guide for Feb yet, but I can say that it been on every year in the past and should be this year on the ESPN channel here channel 64 and if not 64 then 62 where they been showing most of the NFL games this year. I know I will be watching it.

I’ve seen UFC on TrueSport 2 or 3 before, so I guessing that they might although I don’t think it was live.

The peak is August 12 and they can be seen from anywhere in the world. I don’t expect them to be good this year, partly because the bright full Moon will make it hard to see any but the brightest ones, but you never know. The best time to watch is after midnight because that puts you on the “front” side of the Earth in its orbit, which is where most of the meteors will be seen hitting the atmosphere.

I am looking for some kind of free program that will let me watch live TV from China, Japan and Thailand. Does anyone know any good ones?

In your hotel room as long as the Hotel has True Vision Cable. The game may be on Thai TV but I am not sure about that anyway it would be in Thai. Bangkok is a big place also, any idea where in Bangkok would help also. I am sure some bars and pubs may have the game on.
