i am going to put my thai wife visa in next year 2011 do you think that will be ok as the immigration will change. can you help?

The holder of the Thai passport is currently staying in the UK on a 6 month Visa granted by the UK Embassy and would be travelling from the UK to Ireland.Do you think they still need a Visa to enter Ireland?

Does a Thai national need a visa for Cambodia?
I need an answer from someone who knows as I have reserched on the Internet and have many contradictory answers.
Some say Asean nations such as Thailand and Cambodia plus 8 others can travel visa free.
Others say there is a fee of 0r 1000 ฿
Please speak from personal experience.

In my continuing effort to acquire a Thai Retirement Visa (O-A visa) I will have to deposit money into a Thai bank. My intention is to just park this money in a bank and not touch it, so that it will always be there when I need to document that I have it. The only reason I would touch it is if I am going to leave the country. What do you think is the best bank and best and safest type of account for me? I’m not concerned about earning interest on this money. I am a simpleton at heart, so simpler is better.

If you are from a country travelling to the usa and plans to enter canada, and needs a visa to canada, can you get it in the USA?
Example: A Thai national travelling to the east coast and plans to enter canada (as tourist as well) for a few days. Can he or she get his/her canadian tourist visa in the usa? What are the procedures and how long would it take?

If you have a British passport you wont need a visa to enter Jamaica. If you’ve got a passport from Thailand I suggest you contact the Thai embassy and find out for yourself the Jamaican embassy is notoriously slow when it comes to picking up the phone .

My Thai GF & I are planning to marry and I understand the fastest way is to apply for a Fiance Visa in America and once that is approved, she can come to America and we can get married.

She can travel to Schengen area, the continental European Union, with a proper valid visa, but not without visa for 2 reasons:
(1) She holds Thai passport which has no visa free access on Schengen area
(2) UK is not a member of Schengen treaty and there are immigration controls between UK and Schengen area.

My wife’s sister would like to study the 8th grade this fall here in the U.S. I am a U.S. citizen, my wife is a Green card holder, and my sister in law has a Thai passport with a 10 year visitors Visa. What is the best route we should pursue to allow her to study 8th grade here this year.

If all your papers are in order it takes 1 day.
Means submit it today and gets your visa the next working day.
Do translate all your documents if its not in Thai.
Make a copy of your documents and of course passport size recent photo of the person who is applying for it.
The security guards at the front gate will checks your passport and gives you a visa form to be filled up then only you be allow to take a q number.
The Thai embassy only receives applications during 10am-11.30 am ( malaysian time , not Thai time,please set your clock or watch…so do not be late.
Check the Thai and Malaysian calendar for any public holidays.As the embassy will be closed during such period.
It is easy to locate Thai embassy,as it is just after the French and the Spanish embassy along Jalan Ampang.
If going by taxi , makes sure the driver uses the meter and pays according to the fare.
