Tiger Woods is considered by many to be the best professional golfer ever. At the age of 2, Tiger appeared on THE MIKE DOUGLAS SHOW, putting against comedian Bob Hope. At 15, Tiger became the youngest U.S. Junior Amateur Champion in golf history. Today, Tiger is the first ever to hold all four professional major championships at the same time (Master’s, PGA, U.S. Open, British Open). All the below are true about Tiger, except: *
A) Is half-Thai, mother is Kutilda, a native of Thailand
B) Grew up in Orange County, California
C) On June 15, 1997, in his 42nd week as a professional, Tiger became the youngest-ever No. 1 golfer at age 21 years, 24 weeks.
D) Since 1997, Tiger has consecutively been named the Player of the Year by the PGA TOUR (Jack Nicklaus Award), the PGA of America, and the Golf Writers Association of America).

Derek Tonkin, former British ambassador in Vietnam, Laos and Thailand, said that after receiving her letter, the junta might be prepared “to have a working relationship of some kind” with Suu Kyi.http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20091003/wl_…
It would be further good news if Suu Kyi was able to start a review committee in conjunction with the government and a few of her party members to study the draft proposal constitutional amendments.
Good luck Myanmar and a special hello to the little novices who too should be learning about how constitutions work and are written.
She is coming to the uk for a holiday, will the situation in thailand make it less likely for her to get a uk visa

I should be traveling in the end of may first week of june and was wondering what are the best things to do during this time. such as beaches, places to see, and such. I will be starting in bangkok where i fly in. should i go to northern thailand and work my way down, or go to southern thailand, or should i stay in the bangkok area? any tips would be greatly appreciated.

My husband recently went on a company trip to Phuket in Thailand. When he came back
1) I found a ticket to a strip club in his pants pocket while doing the laundry. He insists he didnt go, and said the ticket must be someone else’s.
2)I found receipts for beer in his pocket while I was taking out the foreign currency. He says he didnt drink (i have something against drinking and he knows its) and he just treated his colleagues. Says his drink isnt ont the bill because he had plain water, which he never does.
3) I found lipstick on the collar & back of his shirt while doing laundry. First he said it wasnt lipstick then he said maybe someone accidentally brushed against him, then he said (when I was abt to leave) that some hooker had tried and he brushed her off.
4) Today I found another lipstick mark on another shirt from that trip. This time at the part of the shirt that is tucked in. He said he doesnt want to go thru another round of accusations.
Ha. So wat do u think?
I keep hearing about men going over to Thailand and taking advantage of young children there. I see it on the TV, internet and newspapers in the news all the time!
It is not giving Thai people a very good image of Wstern countries at all I bet and I feel so sorry for these poor girls/boys that are exploited there. Why has Thailand, in particular, become a target for paedophiles? Where are the stricter laws preventing this?

I live from the Northern part of Thailand and want to go Bangkok on Thursday. But I overheard my neighbors gossipping that about a million people from all parts of Thailand will be going to Bangkok to join the rally; and it will case huge trafic jams, chaos and commuters might be stranded for days.
Anyone heard about it?
Dear friend,
You want to know why Khunying Photdjaman went to see Pa Prem, and what they talked about?
Khunying had a message to be passed on the King of Thailand through Pa Prem. The bargain of Thaksin is:
•As for the hidden shares, he will return ten billions to Thailand and pay penalty. In return, no jail sentence.
•As for other small technical mistakes he will pay compensation to the State, five billion baht.
•As for causing disunity and division among the Thai people, he is very sorry. He was well meant. He will create a Foundation for Peace and Unity in Thailand with five billion baht.
•As for having created heavy concern to the King Himself, he is extremely sorry, promise to wear the yellow shirt all his life, and ask for Royal Pardon. Besides, he will contribute to Royal Projects ten billion baht.
•As for the Thai Rak Thai, he will dissolve it into thin air. He and his former associates will not have any role or activity in politics for five years.
•He loves Thailand and the Thai people. He is home sick. He wants to live in peace, play golf, go shopping from time to time to Paragon and eat khuitiaw in a normal restaurant. He will do normal business, pay takes by the new rules, and visit monks. (Since his wealth has greatly diminished he will not be able to make much merit in thambuns for a few years).
•Briefly: he pays, he gets Royal Pardon, and no jail for him. He promises to be a good boy from now on.
That was the message of Mr. Thaksin to Pa Prem for the King.
Khunying Photdjaman only said she khit thing Thailand very much, was not pleased with Harrods, and did not like English tea. Therefore she hoped to be back soon in Thailand with 100 pieces of luggage and another 100 of small shopping gifts for the new government members, to show their gratitude.
This simple request took only fifteen minutes.
Pa Prem did not say anything, only that he would pass the message to the King.
End of the visit.
My Japanee colleague is in his late 20s. He works hard and travel to different countries alot. However, when he is around he will go to nightclub where there are pretty go-go dancers. He loves to drink and have many friends in the bar. He makes six figures and spend so much money in the bar like 20,000 baht for a night.
Well, he seems to like me who is average working woman. I am not a pretty girl and am very low maintenance. Whenever he asks me out, I always tease him “Hmmm why won’t date those pretty bar girls, I am sure they love you” He is a bit upset. My question is why he like me (Very plain woman) instead of sexy pretty girls.
I am due to arrive in Bangkok for a few days and then I want to travel around Thailand, Vietnam and maybe a few other places before working my way to Bali. As I will be on a budget can I work my way to Bali by buses or trains etc to save money from flights and if anyone has any experience of this then I will be grateful for your information.
we were planning to tour bangkok, thailand for 4 days this september but cancelled it because of the news we are hearing.
we are planning to go this october 16-19. is it safe to go there by that time?
thanks!
Do NOT get into fights with Thais. Why? Is it because its a mafia like country or everyone protects one another
Please suggest me good places both in pattaya and bangkok to have a nice new year and great fun with beautiful ladies.
Is 25000 Baht enough for 4 days ?
Including all the services
