I mean the Thai Immigration will they let me in at the bangkok Airport?

Im planning to go to thailand soon.but i dont have plans of making a hotel reservation or something like that .because i will be staying at my girlfriend’s apartment .im just wondering if the thai immigration would allow me to go ,will they ask for any hotel accomodation once i arrive there?can i just say that i will stay with my girlfriend?do i need to have a hotel reservation for me to pass the immigration?how much do i need to bring there?i heard that the immigration is asking on how much you have in your wallet..is that true..by the way im from the philippines.which means that i dont need a visa anymore..

I have a check that’s been issued to me by the U.S. Government. Unfortunately, the company that handled my return this year botched the direct deposit. I can’t go home to get it because it expires after 60 days. If I have it sent to Thailand, it may use several of those days, which I can’t risk if I can’t get it cashed here.

So…can I cash my check from the U.S. government at a bank in Thailand?

My girlfriend got an offer to teach in thailand for 11 months. I am planning on going over and seeing her, as I have always wanted to see southeast asia, thailand and vietnam specifically. I can make my hair look pretty decent if I use a straightening/de-frizz cream, blow dry and straightening irons, but how can I keep my frizzy haystack hair under control in the middle of humid Thailand … possibly without electricity? We’ll be hiking and doing outdoorsy stuff, visiting caves, temples, & markets, going to the beach, and partying in the big cities.
My hair looks just about exactly like my avatar. It’s chin-length with layers (the shortest bits are about level with my eyes) and a side swept fringe. (But I can grow it a bit cause the trip is 6 months away.) It’s mid-brown, normal texture, a bit wavy and very dry and frizzy. I have an oval face, so I can wear pretty much any style.
because it’s backpacking I can’t carry too many products, etc. and I don’t want to spend ages in the bathroom every morning.
Cut and styling advice please?? And please give as much detail as poss cause I’m not the greatest at doing hair.
