my husband and I are going to Bangkok for a 3-day vacation along with a couple of friends. We’re hopin’ we could find a hotel with a good service yet affordable (for twin package and 3 star will do) that’s accessible (near the best places to see so we wont spend too much time and money on travel) also, is it ok to make our own itinerary and not to avail tour package? thanks :)

Me and 2 of my friends are going to the Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan, and wondered if anyone knew anywhere nice to stay?
Want it quite near where the party is, and also quite up market.
Thanks!

Hi,
I’m looking to start practicing Muay Thai in Montreal. I’m fairly in shape and in my early 20s. I want to know what are the best places in Montreal where I could learn real Muay Thai from teachers with solid fighting experience in Thailand.
Does any school or gym in Montreal offer that?

Although, the price for the hotel i mentioned is for the next trip. this time, i’d rather stay at an affordable and comfortable-enough place. thanks in advance! hoping for more answers to come in. thanks again

It’s a bit of a catch 22 I suppose, they say you need to speak thai to meet and get the right girl, but the best way to learn thai is by having a Thai girlfriend….
I’ve had no trouble meeting women in bars, for that sort of thing, but I’d like something more than for one night, any idea where to go or what to do to meet a nice girl if you don’t speak Thai?

I’m looking for a good place to do some studying and reading in Chiang Mai. Preferably a QUIET place that has tables or desks like a library or cafe.

is this something you do

Even though I travel frequently to Bangkok, I have an issue with privacy. I notice that many beauty parlours providing beauty services are unisex where men can go in and out with their female counterparts and that outsiders can simply peep through the glass and see the customer’s face. Even in Central Mall and MBK, I notice this is the case. I feel very uncomfortable with this because I’m used to a private room with personalised service and don’t like myself be seen as a live mannequin through the glass. Where are some places which will be suitable for me to go for facial, massage and spa?

I am planning to go for holiday, i want to choose either Pattaya or Philippines, which is the best place to party and enjoy Night Life.
