Korea has 16~19 days of paid National holidays per year. Thanks Giving and the Lunar New Year are 4~6 days long.

I am young single female- what are my chances of meeting someone while living in thailand for afew months? I think some asian taller men are attractive.. and I hear aussies and kiwis often travel through.. (they are sexy!) Please give me some hope I am afraid I might be kissing my love life goodbye!
I am looking to travel through South and southeast asia during the summer months. I understand that August and September is the monsoon season in much of Southern Asia. After looking up seasonal weather data for some cities like New Delhi and Phuket, I learned that these areas get as much as 10 inches of rain a month during this time. However, these numbers down really mean a whole lot to me conceptually. Can someone tell me what a typical day is like in one of these areas affected by the monsoons? I.e. how many hours a day does it rain? Does it rain everyday? Is it more of a light rain or does it come down in buckets? Does the monsoon season make going to beaches during these months practically impossible? Does the sun come out a few hours almost everyday despite the rain?
Also, I realize that the answer to this question depends somewhat on exactly what city we’re talking about, but any experience you have for a particular city affected by the monsoon would help. Thanks
does anybody have any hotel recommendations.i heard i can get a nice hotel for a reasonable cost.
As for the first question, I don’t know much about any African culture, and relying on my Kenyan friend doesn’t suffice IMO. ;P There is so much more to the whole continent than Kenya. xD
For countries I would like to go to; I would like to visit (the most, but there’s no order. xD) South Africa, Mexico, (parents won’t bring me
) Vietnam, Laos, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Chile, Egypt, Morocco, Madagascar, India, England, France, Turkey, Greece, Poland, China (for a second time), Japan (for a second time), Korea (for a second time) Russia (for a fifth time) Finland (third time) Thailand, Indonesia, The Philippines, Germany (second) and everything else I can’t think of. D:
nightlife – and plenty of girls–what city is best ?-in the philippines-and thailand–also thinking of brazil to–name a hotel and city—–
Patong beach has a really long and pretty beach, but the town its self is a bit seedy. As was mentioned before, it’s not really good for kids or recovering alcoholics ;p
There are tons of small beer bars, and a few bigger clubs. The nightlife centers on the famous Bangla Rd, which is in the center of town and it closed to most traffic in the nighttime. The people watching is great if you like watching funny drunks, ladyboys and men picking up ladies for the evening or week. The first time I saw it I was in shock, but got used to and enjoyed if after some time.
Restaurants are everywhere and can be very high end, or little street stalls. The seafood is wonderful and there is a big range of European food.
Shopping is fun at all the little stores. Every sort of trinket you could possibly imagine at good prices. There is also a brand new mall, that is huge and has a lot of nice chain stores.
There are a couple of pricey resorts, lots of mid priced hotels, and guesthouses that range from pretty nice down to ramshackle for as little as 250 baht per night.
A lot of day trips around the island are run from Patong and are a lot of fun to get out of town for a bit.
If you are looking for some peace and quite, I would advise staying in Kata or Karon, they are about a 15 minute cab ride away. But if lots of noise, lights and general sensory overload is what you’re looking for, then Patong is your place!
this is a pretty good site:http://www.patong-beach.com/
I would like to keep my costs down but also don’t want to lose time as I will only have 3 weeks in total before moving on to other countries.

Hotels will be full of old people?
We wont be able to socialise with anyone?
We wont be able to drink or party?
I’m going to Thailand in December / January and would love some feedback on this hotel, or nearby alternatives. Thanks!
Would any girl in China, Japan, Korea,Thailand and or any where in the world date a guy or like a guy like me?
I am 18 year old black male who is nice, respectful, smart, kind, honest, a good person and I don’t dress like those rappers, thugs and gangsters , I don’t sag my pants or wear bling and I have respect for women and I would never ever hurt them,. everyone thinks that all black guys are mean, disrespectful, violent, but I’m not that kind of person and will never be.I’m a church goer, I’m educated and I always treat people with respect. And I have a big head. It’s hard to be like by a black girl. all the time. I see the type of a guy they like which is someone sagging his pants, wearing expensive, a grill in his mouth, doo rag on his head and they fall for that but me I don’t dress like that ever! Maybe black girls are not for me and maybe I should find someone outside of my race.Black girls never treat me with respect I never had a girlfriend, I never been om a date because girls only treat me as a friend for my entire life.I respect girls all over the world and i always treat like the intelligent women they are. Girls only like good-looking and athletic. It is hard to be like by a girl. Maybe I should give up and move on from black girls and find a girl from a different race, maybe the girls I see are not for me, every girl is different. Maybe I should find someone outside of my race. love has no skin color and love can from any race. maybe she is out there. maybe i can find someone who would like regardless of my skin color because we all are God’s children

I’m thinking about Thailand even though I’m not down with the prostitution scene. Can you find local girls who aren’t in the industry? I’m not that desperate lol and never will be.

Hi,
All nationalities have beautiful girls. Most Asians are crazy about Swedish girls. But most Germans are crazy about Thai girls. Just why? I thought that girls in other Asian countries are equally, if not more, beautiful. Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Indian, …
But still most German men like Thai girls…

Well, it depends on the type of traveller and what he or she is out for. Many people like to do the usual Thai circuit: stay in Banglampu when in Bangkok, venture to Chiang Mai (but nowhere much else in the north), do Pattaya and the nightlife, head to Phuket and party, and finally, Koh Samui. Off-the-beaten track is not in the itineray. Many tend to walk the beaches and bars at these places to see and to be seen – usually the same crowd also doing the same circuit. Not much Tahi culture is experienced – but they stumble back to the hut or guest house at the wee hours to sleep it off. These kind of traveller’s love the Full Moon Party.
Other traveller’s avoid Pattaya, Phuket and Koh Samui like the plague.
To me personally, the Full Moon Party was just a bunch of drunks and snob farangs who ended up fighting to be first in the boat queues the next morning. It interrupted my otherwise peaceful month-stay in a remote part of Koh Phangan. If you do go, I think it is advisable to be with some friends so you can form your own party – otherwise, catch an early boat back to avoid the rush.
About the same as Koh Phangan.
