Hi,
I am going to Bangkok, Phuket and Phi Phi with a friend of mine in February. If someone can help and tell me where to go I would LOVE the tips… clubs, parties, shopping, statues.. anything!
Thanks

I am travelling to thailand for 2 months, what should i take?? I want to visit quiet beaches with white sand and clear water where can you find these? Also how much money in UK pounds will i need on average per day for me and my boyfriend? I am trying to work out how much i need to take! Any recomendations about where to visit?
Many thanks

Where can I find cheap Hookers (less than 2000baht) in Bangkok for ST without going to the dirty places (Soi cowboy, Soi patpong, Nana area, Soi 33….)? I prefer ladies which are most likely to be tested. If you know discreet places (girl houses, massage parlors, escorts) please inform me thank you

What islands/hotel do you recomend in Thailand for this period?

I’m half Thai, but I was raised in the US. The last time I went to Thailand was 3 years ago, but I didn’t get to experience as much as I wanted to. I would like to go clubbing, party, shop, and hang out with people around my age, especially if you live in BKK! :) If you would like to chat, I use MSN messenger, so please leave your email and we can get to know each other from there.
P.S. Please reply if you are ages 18-26, anybody else will be ignored!

Hi, im looking for Safe and Central accomodation in Bangkok for two girls who want their own room. Any suggestions?

My son is planning on a 4 week trip to thailand to meet up with a friend there (they have been in contact 3 years!) They both claim they love each other and want to meet. I as a parent an just so scared for him as he has never travelled abroad alone before. He will be staying in a hotel neat where she lives. She is 19 and seems sweet enough from her letters, email and phone calls.
I cannot stop him from going but I also cannot stop worrying. Any advise please?????

I`m going to thailand for my honeymoon at 12or13th february 2008.But i`m not quite sure which city to go.
Me and my husband want to have a unforgetablle time there so please suggest which city would be best.
Also if u could suggest a beautiful resort for our accomodation may be for 7-10 days which won`t cost too much.Something around 1500-2500 baht per night.
I `ve checked lots of sites for hotel but i`m too confused what would be best.
I want to have a luxirious experience, with not costing too much money.
plz let me know if u have good ideas.

Any feedbacks about this hotel u stayed? is the hotel clean?
I heard that Bangkok City Inn is a little rundown. Thanks

Uncle Ray, ignore curious one’s comment… Your reasons for going to Thailand are your own.
Below are some links for hotels and other places to visit in haadyai (or “Hat Yai”).
Good luck, and be safe! This is an area of Thailand that can be very dangerous…

What about mini siam and mini world? What about that park Ancient City that has the miniature highlights of Thailand, is it worth seeing?

I am from Thailand, and I am trying to learn how to read and write in Thai. There are 44 letters in all. In a row there are 9. (There are some letters which we don’t use anymore.) Anyway I am learing row by row. I already know row #1, and I am trying to learn row #2. If I take a week to learn 1 row, will that take too long? Or should I give mtself some more time? I also need to learn 36 Thai vowels. 9 rows of 4 letters so….. I hope I didn’t confuse you too much..

Welcome to Thailand ! just go ahead ,you can grab info in the airport , btw , i don know is this your first time , getting transport is easy but need some bargain especially Tuk Tuk(three wheeler taxi) and some taxi driver who didn’t switch on the meter for making extra money , ask for prices(Tuk Tuk) or whether the taxi is running on meter first before hoping in.
Alot of shopping mall and street vendor selling cheap and good clothes nd many others thing ,and lots of bars and clubs in the night(Patpong .nana plaza/suhkumvit road/ kao san road.
For massage palour is a must to visit especially the soapy massage (or you never consider being to Thailand before) there is one full stop of this massage palour call Entertainment Plaza.
Enjoy your holiday!!!

What are the places must see? places to shop – reasonably priced goods of good quality? alternative place to stay not hotel but is clean and safe?

Should we import third worlders to teach us how to “lime” and have siestas? Should we learn from them how to be lazy, in exchange for teaching them how to work hard doing the jobs we used to have?
I’m having trouble figuring out the lazy part. Going from 100-hour workweeks to nothing is hard. My friends are all having the same problem.
The president should form a laziness council and fly in citizens of Jamaica, Guinea-Bissou, Thailand and Somalia to show Americans how to be unemployed. We can learn to play board games, card games and unique foreign games that foreigners pass time with when the Japanese have destroyed their fishing business or Western countries clean out their natural resources.
Maybe the street music will get better, now that harder-working, more dedicated people will be forced to make a living off of tips on the street. We can only dream.

not to exspensive would be good

im going to thailand for two weeks, investing in some import fashion merchandise…im going with a girl who is thai and knows good local places and how to get around…cheap hotels etc. aside from my airfare and shopping money how much should i plan to spend with eating out drinking and hotel for 2 weeks, dont need to be a high roller but want to enjoy myself and have money to burn

I’m a Canadian 19 year old woman. Going on my honeymoon. I know that it’s the rainy season, the currency is baht, and the majority of Thais are Buddhist.
Would like to know:
- Interesting facts.
- What I should be aware of (ex. scams, ect)
- What are the good beaches and clubs.
I appreciate any and all help. Thank you!

me and my wife want to chill on the cheap…thanks

I was wondering if I should stay for a month but it all depends on the prices of everything.Does any one know any general prices of like say mabe a hotel stay for a week or two and mabe a trip to the spa, retaurants, and shopping etc….Thanks any info will help

We’re only staying in 4/5 star hotels and will only really be on island beaches. Do we really need inoculations???

I am going to Thailand for a month or two in September for the first time. I am trying to find a good place to stay, I would like to find a town with a decent hotel or serviced apartment that is near the beach, but I am not concerned about nightlife, prostitutes or bars. Basically, I just want a peaceful, relaxing place to go.
My only three requirements are: I need in-room internet access, in-room air conditioner and not too expensive.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
BTW: I fully understand the 30 day visa runs. Also, if anyone can recommend hospitals/doctors in Thailand that are reliable for getting a physical and all tests done it would be of great service.
