Actually, you can just try any of the roadside stores which charge about 180baht for a 1.5hr – 2hr massage. The masseurs are quite good and it’s a definite value for money.
Avoid those recommended by the bell hops as they are sure to be earning commission and they will send you to places which charge anything from 500 – 1000 baht for the same service you get from the small shops!
Another word of advice since you travelling to Bangkok: Taking the cabs is ok. Just make sure that they have the word Taximeter on the top and that they turn on the meter the moment you get into the cab. If not, get out immediately. You are not obligated to ride with them before you give them the location.

I plan to travel to Thailand for 2-3 nights in few month’s time with a partner and 2 preschoolers in tow. Where can I find an inexpensive (less than $100) hotel room that is clean, safe and near the shopping markets or tourist attraction. I would also appreciate suggestions from local residents on what to do, where to go, what to bring, what is the best season to travel, etc.

I am going to Thailand and want to spend New Years on Pattaya beach. I know the place is swamped. How difficult will it be to find accommodations now. I don’t need anything fancy because I will be travelling alone. However, I don’t fancy the Cockroach Inn.

Does anyone know any good place where i can pick up a free wireless signal in Jomtien Beach Pattaya?
Last time I stayed there I picked up free wirless in my hotel room, which is ideally what im looking for (this particular place now no longer has a signal)
But if not any places maybe that give free wireless to customers as long as you buy a drink etc..

I’m planning on some travel in the next few months and want to look into getting dental work done while i’m in Thailand. Advice? Cautions? Regulations I should be aware of? I’ve spent time in Thailand before and know they have excellent medical and dental services available, but would like more detailed information before I look into bookings.

I am taking a trip to Bangkok, Thailand in August and planning to do a lot of shopping. I am not interested in the regular malls because I can find that in the United States. Can someone recommend me some markets around Bangkok with a variety of items? Also I just finished watching the travel channel they said Cha-Ta-Cha was the hugest market. Where is this place and am I hearing it correctly?
