Whats going to happen to the Australian Dollar over the next 3 days??
I have a business in Australia importing goods from Thailand to Australia. I have to transfer some funds by the end of the week but the rate is the worst I have ever seen this time could cost me up to $800.00 for the same amount of stock can anybody forcast the future!!! this hurts and I dont want to add the extra costs on to the end user but the exchange rate has been on a steady decline.

Thailand’s low cost of living is a major factor behind the rapid growth of its tourism industry. However, the Thai Baht is rapidly strengthening, making travel in Thailand more expensive than in previous years. Would this put you off visiting the country? Would it put you off if the Baht strenghthened to 30 to the dollar?

So The current exchange rate is $34 Thai Baht for every US dollar. I bank with US Bank and they use Travelex for converting money and they only give me $30 dollars. I have a friend at BOA who says I can get $31 dollars for every US dollar. HOW can I get the actual exchange rate? Should I just transfer a little of it now and do the rest once I am in Bangkok next month? Or should I just take this loss and convert it all here.

Check out Sanry’s Money Changer, they have the best rates I’ve seen. You can find a branch in most of the major malls in the city, especially in the Makati area.

I am going to Thailand and I am hopeless at Math so don’t want to make mistakes when paying up front for accommodation, diving courses and day to day incidentals.
I know it’s about 30 baht to the dollar but when I see 100s or 1,000s of baht I get confused.
Is there any quick way of back-calculating Thai baht figures into USD without doing complicated long-division mental mathematics??

Just wondering if anyone know where’s the best place to exchange Thai Baht in Sydney? Banks, hotel, money bureau etc.
I need only small exchange just enough for me to get around when I get off the plane. How much Baht do I need for
transport and food? (ie from airport to and from hotel) Do I need passport to exchange foreign currency? I am staying in the north Din Daeng area.
Finally is there anything else about BBK I should know or be aware of?
