My Thai GF & I are planning to marry and I understand the fastest way is to apply for a Fiance Visa in America and once that is approved, she can come to America and we can get married.

However, the entire process from filing the petition, visa application once there is an approved petition and forwarded to the US Consulate/Embassy, can take 12 months or more all up when you consider also the time it can take for the consular section to schedule interviews. Some schedule interviews in a matter of weeks, some a few months, and others several months.
