I have this friend from class who is from Thailand named Tara who introduced me to this girl. I gave this girl I was introduced to a ride home from a club we went to and spoke to Tara about her. She said “sorry shes not into you because she likes dark haired guys” I am light brown/ dirty blonde haired. I was confused because i hit it off with this girl i thought and she told me when I dropped her off “get my phone number from Tara.” Was my friend Tara purposely saying this girl she introduced me to didn’t like me or do you think she was being honest? I dont know why she would have said “get my number from Tara” if she wasn’t truely interested. I didn’t even ask to get her number either (although I did want it). As for Tara, I don’t know I met her through school recently because we have the same class so we are friends but I don’t know her extremely well and we’ve only known each other for about 2 months. what do you think about this?

I have 10 male friends aged 30-34 who are Accountants, Lawyers, Software Analysts, Engineers and Medical. Only two have professional women as girlfriends, mine is a Nurse and a friend dates an Artist. I helped my Nurse girlfriend to get her degree by doing her maths coursework for her and re-writing a couple of her assignments (she is from Thailand originally and has English language problems).
We made it through a feminised secondary education system, with some feminist teachers who sometimes unfairly gave the girls better marks than us, for lower quality work. At University we similarly had to put up with hostile feminists. As a result, we want to forget our educational years and get on with life. Having a professional girlfriend reminds you of University.
My friends and I are in a walking club and we see a constant flow of professional women 30-35 + looking for boyfriends. Most of us are taken however and none of go for their type. I thought initially that this may be just a local phenomenon, but it seems to be spread throughout he industrialised world.

ive just bought and paid for my first rtw trip….
after searching through which visas i have to get, i found the thai one abit confusing.
many websites say that i can just get a 30 day visa stamp (free) and all i have to do is catch the flight, fill in forms on plane and bring a couple of passport photos of myself………
another website says that you have to have proof of travel out of thailand eg, flight booked out so they definatley know your gonna leave.
my problem is that im planning on traveling thru thailand and flying out of singapore. Obviously this is possible as many people do it, but i dont want to get on a plane to bangkok and be refused entry as i havent got a flight leaving the country and the wrong kind of visa
if anyone could help id be very.v.v gratefull

There are many, many places that will show games. If you don’t want to be bothered by the girls find a British or Irish pub like the one near Ripley’s Believe it or Not but not in the same little mall. Walk out for the front door of that mall and keep going and it will eventually be on the left and you walk down some stairs and into the pub. I used my friends curfew a couple times, which was 9-10. She found out and got mad but it got better. Than my parents got back together, we moved in a new house and that meant new rules: no sleepover, home on weekends.

I can make my hair look pretty decent if I use a straightening/de-frizz cream, blow dry and straightening irons, but how can I keep my frizzy haystack hair under control in the middle of humid Thailand … possibly without electricity? We’ll be hiking and doing outdoorsy stuff, visiting caves, temples, & markets, going to the beach, and partying in the big cities.
My hair looks just about exactly like my avatar. It’s chin-length with layers (the shortest bits are about level with my eyes) and a side swept fringe. (But I can grow it a bit cause the trip is 6 months away.) It’s mid-brown, normal texture, a bit wavy and very dry and frizzy. I have an oval face, so I can wear pretty much any style.

I was looking for any nice recipes for Bhutan rice, or any sort of curried, masala sauce I could put over chicken or serve over jasmine rice. I would appreciate it a lot. There are no Indian-food restaurants within about 3.5 hours of where I live, and would love be able to at least make some. I have also had some similar Thai dishes made with a similar effect to an Indian dish before, which was lovely. I have a large array of spices so at lease that is not an issue. I have tried some recipes before, but would really like some ones on making common sauces or dishes for my husband and I.

I was in Pattaya a few days ago although i had a lot of fun. My white friend was getting way more attention than me… Even though im way better than him when it comes to dealing with woman and im the one who is more popular with the women here.

I already speak French, English and Spanish. Thai and Mandarin are both tonal languages, but Thai has an alphabet, whereas Chinese doesn’t. Hence my question…If one is to compare the grammar of both languages, which I think are fairly similar (no gender, no plural, no singular, no “tenses”, etc.), would it be true to say that Thai is easier to learn?
