I go to Hofstra University a third tier school but I’m hoping to transfer to Columbia, NYU, Cornell, Northwestern, UPenn, Boston College, or Boston University.
I’m a freshman at Hofstra so my first semester i got a straight 4.0 (woo hoo! tee hee)
In high school, i had an incident in junior year when i was Key Club President, Junior Class President and fully IB. My mother moved out and afterthat i coudln’t focus or study or even be motivated. It was really hard. So i thought i had to get away from all that and I moved out against my father’s will. I worked 5 days a week to pay rent AND TRIED to juggle all that stuff. Of course i failed =/ miserably. My grades freshman/sophomore years were mainly As. Junior year they were Ds and Fs. It was harder emotionally for me. Senior year first semester i moved back home but got Fs and Ds the first semester. The second semester i miraculously pulled 5 As and 1 C out of my butt. And i went to Hofstra and got a 4.0.

I am getting married in November 08 and was wondering if anyone has any neat ideas for ceremonies in Thailand? I was considering the marriage on an elephant or possibly a beach wedding. My fiance and I are planning to get “married” legally in the states before leaving for Thailand to avoid all the running around and translating of documents once we get there and then having a ceremony somewhere in Thailand. Any ideas or thoughts would be GREATLTY appreciated!!!!!
I want know how much do i need to pay for a girl for a night…is it better to take a girl out from Go Go bars or go to massage parlours for an hour to have sex
I found a new website about travel in Thailand, you can do an online book from this website , I think it’s a very cheap rate.
I just acquired a whole lot of pieces earrings, necklaces, you name it enough to start a small business basically and all were bought in Thailand from a relative almost 20 yrs ago and passed it along to me thru the family and told me to sell it or do whatever I want I was thinking e-bay but I don’t know the value system can someone please help

Im american emergency medicine doctor and would love to live in thailand or brazil. Can i practice medicine there? Could i open a laser hair removal clinic there? Has any one done this?
I want to impress a girl (who is thai) with some Thai. Also, I want to ask her out, but what do you say? What is the correct way of saying IN THAI, would you like to go out sometime? Thanks in advance!
I have been once before and it was GREAT. Of course I hit Walking Street and a few of the bars, the best of which I thought was Angel Witch. I stayed at the Residence Garden last time. Is anyone married to or has been married to a NON-bar girl from Thailand? Any advice on that?

I have just got my touris visa for thailand, valid for 3 months but have read that this doesnt mean i can stay for that long. In fact i can only stay for either 30 or 60 days. Now is there anyway of knowing wether it will be 30 or 60 days before i go? If not what are my chances of only being given 30 days, cos i really really need at least 60… Thank you
I am planning a day in Phuket. The questions are:
- what is the closest elephant Safari to Patong Beach?
- we would like to ride an elephant. Would it be enough to spend there only 2-3 hours? Or is it a long lasted safari trip, and we need to reserve a whole day for it?
We want to combine 3-4 attractions at the same day:
1. elephants riding (2-3 hours)
2. shooting rang (2 hours)
3. Wat Chalong (1,5 hour)
4. Phuket Downtown (3-4 hours)
5. go back to Patong beach.
Would it be possible to do so?
thanks!
At the moment, the coup detat appears to be pretty peaceful , bloodless and apparently quite popular among the masses.Even the king subtlely endorsed it.The question now is can Taksin supporters able to retort back ? It is possible that pro-Taksin supporters might held some sort of demonstrations in a show of force. But their impact most likely be subdued , minimal and isolated as the majority of the populaces in the big cities are hardcore anti-Taksin.
The restoration of full democracy is on the right track as the military has already declare it has no intention to remain in power any second longer than it is necessary by annoucing a caretaker government to be form in 2 weeks time. If the installation of an interim government is succesfull it will pave the way for a general election to be held at a later date. This will take some time. Hopefully this painfully transition will be smooth without any bloodshed. Unless Taksin openly declared defeat or the surrender his premiership then there is always a risk of instability. But at the moment ordinary people seems to go about their business as usual. These uneasy calm will prevail for some time to come.
But in Southern Thailand the story is much different. Muslims insurgency are creating troubles that the government finds it hard to contain. So it is advisable to stay away from Southern Thailand. It is still premature to speculate the security level in the weeks ahead let alone a month time. But the big picture will be clearer in 2 weeks time with the installation of an interim goverment.Lets revisit this question in a fortnight time. A lot of things can happen in the meantime.
How can a guy in Thailand sell 1670 Baht ($48) worth of Thai Baht for $33 on Ebay? Is there someone in Thailand checking to see if this is counterfeit? Or is this a great deal?http://cgi.ebay.com/BANKNOTE-KING-9-FROM…

were smashed by the tsunami which
was detailed in a Swedish-language book entitled “Kay from Koh Lanta”,
published by LL Forlaget Publishing in Sweden, a company partially funded by
state grants.
Swedish author Johanna Starkenberg-Frojd and photographer Anna Rehnberg
arrived on the island shortly after the December 2004 natural disaster
looking for a real life survivor’s story and found Kay (and family) a
perfect subject.
The family never signed an official release form of permission to publish
Kay’s story but trusted that the benefits would eventually flow back to
them. The editor promised Kay a trip to Sweden which never materialized but
the family assumed a small amount of the books proceeds would be forthcoming
to help jump start Kay’s education.
so now locals claim the publishers are
deliberately choosing to manipulate tsunami victims for financial advantage.
LL Forlaget Publishing, which sells the book online
have refused, after several polite request to help kay’s education
YES.
