My classmate speaks English and Vermise. She helps these Thailand people with their work so they can understand. I want to speak another language too!
Which one do you insist me to learn!?

hi please tell me good hotel for family in pattaya, im traveling with my family and childrens, want to see pattaya beach but dont know too much, dont want to see nightlife, want to stay somewhere on or near beach but away from nightlife places

Yes, I stayed there on the 3rd night after it opened. It was a stunning hotel located over a rather large and soulless Shopping Mall (better to shop in Siam Paragon or MBK). Service was good, rooms excellent and one of the best swimming pools in Bangkok!
No complaints other than I suspect it may be a little corporate, there is little for tourists within walking distance and taxi drivers don’t know it very well (although that has probably changed now it’s been open a while) - make sure you get a directions card written in Thai from the reception to avoid the problem.

I plan to go to China next February to check out the possibily of teaching English there. I’ve chosen to visit Nanning because I have a Chinese internet friend there. I have 10 years experience teaching English to adult Thais at a well-known American school in Bangkok, Thailand. I can speak and read Thai. Also, now I’m learning basic conversational Chinese Mandarin with private tutors. If anyone has any suggestions or advice about preparing to teach in China and what to expect while working there, please email to me.

I don’t but I know that it located in central Bangkok and you can visit everywhere simply. Try this site will give you every information you would like to know, go and see.http://grandwatergatehotel.com/

Twizi.com lists dozens of places to stay that cost less than 25 dollars. The link below will take you to their Bangkok page where you will even find a map showing you where the places are.

Question: Is a Thai lei as good as a Hawaiian lei?
It’s just that it’s been quite awhile since I last had a lei, so I want to be sure that I’m getting the best possible.

if your thailand passport is not expired, you will can use it to enter thailand and use your green card to go back to US. if your trip is longer than 6 months, you will need to apply for a reentry permit so that you can go back to US.
If your thailand passport is already expired, you will need to apply for Thai visa.

Well, I m working in the hotel in thailand. And it’s very slow right now coz tourists cancelled their bookings due to our political crisis.
I am asking you guys if you are afraid of Bangkok now? I know my people, they are soft by nature so city war will not happen. All the attractions are still safe & sound and nice to visit as usual. Are you still coming if you know that Thailand have the crisis?

I would love to know what hotel to stay in. I would love to know what clubs to go to for dancing. I love to play pool too. I want to be right on the beach. I also want to know what are the best brothells to go to. Also which ones are the best for the smallest girls?

Whether it be 90 day visas like Korea or 30 day.

i hear from my friend in thailand, i can find dog for my pet better in my home country indonesia. But i still don’t have any idea and information in thailand. Somebody can help?
Thanks before.

I’m thinking about going to Vietnam for vacation and was just wondering what the chances of a good-looking 5th generation european/american, typical california dude, has of meeting girls in Vietnam?
Where should I go?
Would learning some Vietnamese score me more points?
I’m thinking about Thailand even though I’m not down with the prostitution scene. Can you find local girls who aren’t in the industry? I’m not that desperate lol and never will be.
Please serious answers only.

What specifically are my options to go from Phuket to Pattaya? What would the costs be?

Looks like a question for Ice Cude

Going to Thailand for business….I need a Thai/English translator. Anyone knows how to hire one and for how much?

I don’t think so.
I’ve seen similar questions such as yours being posted repeatedly for so many times and for so long by almost anybody, but none of them got any satisfactory answer.
The Thai language is quite a complex language (apart from having its own alphabet and words spoken in different tones). The reason for the difficulty lies in each and every Thai word themselves. A single Thai word has several varied contexts, and therefore may assume different meanings depending on the context, the specific part of the sentence where the word occurs, and the other words that come in combination with it in the sentence, etc.. The essence of the meaning of a Thai sentence lies therefore not on the literal meaning of each individual Thai word, but rather usually depends on the meaning of the collective combination of Thai words composing the sentence. This is the main reason why translating a Thai sentence using one-to-one literal translation of individual Thai words into English (using a Thai-to-English dictionary) is normally fruitless, because when you combine the individually translated words together, the resulting English sentence doesn’t give any sensible and coherent meaning at all.
To illustrate this point, you can try copying any full Thai sentence and pasting it into an online Thai-to-English translation tool such as “http://www.thai2english.com”. You will find out that the resulting English translation barely makes sense at all (which may just lead you to more confusion and ambiguity rather than helping you).
By way of examples, I had included some url links of certain translation requests. As an exercise, you can input the Thai sentences (written in Thai scripts) to any Thai-to-English translation tool and compare the difference in the tool’s translation outputs and the real English meanings of the sentences.
All other Thai-to-English translation tools and online dictionaries behaves in exactly the same way.

My sister is going to Bangkok on February and she wants to buy a netbook. She was told that there’s a mall beside (or in the immediate vicinity of) the Four Seasons International House in 4/41 Soi Petchburi 19, Bangkok 10400 having lots of cheap gadgets
Question 1: Which mall(s) is it? Does it have a lot of cheap gadgets store?
Question 2: Is the Pantip Plaza (IT Mall) near Four Seasons International House?

He needs to have worked in the UK for 10 years to qualify. Click on the link for more details.

What are some interesting things to do or see in HK. I don’t want to spend all day in a bus or travel to far (spent 12 hours flying there and arrive 9 o’clock night before) as we will be weary and don’t want to tire ourselves out. But I don’t want to sit in the hotel (in Kowloon) and do nothing. Any suggestions appreciated

Hi everyone,
My boyfriend and i are going to Thailand for 2 weeks, in order to make sure we have the best trip i wanted to ask this question:
- What was the one single highlight of your trip to Thailand??
That way everyone can give me 1 thing they did that is a must do - and we can try and include some of these into our trip.
Our plan is to spend 5 days in Bangkok (do some tours maybe North) - then Ko Phangan for 5 days (full moon party) then Koh Samui for a few days (Songhkran falls in that time) then back to Bangkok….
Can anyone recommend any particular highlights in any of these places, or any other places??
THANKS!

We are travelling in thailand and are looking for the easiest ways to get around as we only have 3 weeks to make the most of.
Going to chaing mai and will need to travel down south and also from phuket to the islands of koh samui and ko phangan?
Can anyone offer me any advice or places to look?
Have looked on air asia and are using them to fly from bagngkok to chaing mai but they dont doi many other internal flights.
Thanks!
