Hi, I am planning to go Bangkok on 2 Feb – 5 Feb with my boyfriend. This is the first time we are there. As there are lots of hotels in Bangkok therefore would like to find out which are the hotels suitable for young couple which is value for money, with good ambience and good locations (town/city). price range not more than SGD100. I know wat I pay is wat i get, bt would like to find out more hotels which are recommended here as well. tys.
P.S: Would appreciate information on hotel rooms which is not old and shabby

is there some free lessons on the net?

The price range is vast here in Thailand. You can pay anywhere from 500baht/nite upto 8000/nite.
There are many nice hotels available around the 1000-1500baht/nite all over Thailand

I am heading to Chiang Mai in April and will be living there for 3 month. I will be doing training at ITM Thai Massage school near Rajaphat Institute, Tanin Market, Chang Puak Bus Station and the municipal statium.
Anyone have any suggestions on reasonable guest houses in the area? I am wanting to make sure there’s a fridge and a stove would also be beneficial as I want to cook when there for 3 months.
Got any suggestions?

I am planning on going to Thailand next year in July to August, on Japan Airlines. I am going on second class. I also don’t need to worry about any costs of hotels, because I have family in Thailand, and will be staying with them. I also don’t really like to shop. Anyone have any close estimates? (Sorry I already asked a question similar to this, but I forgot to add some details…)

hello, my husband and i are going trekking in chiang mai and we want a 2 or 3 day max trek in chiang mai, preperably visiting doi inthanon park which doesn’t involve elephant trekking? we cannot seem to find any and it is very frustrating. we have our moral reasons for not wanting to ride these beautiful creatures. we look forward to hearing from you.

I am hoping there i will meet people who I could maybe hang out with and go onto other places with. Do you think I will be ok going travelling alone and which places are best to stay to meet other travellers?

I’m planning a trip to Chiang mai in late March for a one week vacation.
First question, I’m trying to find cheap flights from the US to Chiang mai but it looks like it’s cheaper to fly to Bangkok and take a domestic airline to fly to Chiang mai. Can someone please recommend a reliable and safe airline that will get me there?
Second question, can anyone recommend a nice and relatively cheap hotel in Chiang mai? I have looked at numerous sites and they all sound the same. Has anyone stayed at a hotel in Chiang mai that they were extremely please with?

hi!
I would like to buy good quality stuff as a backpack, hiking boots, knee and ankle braces, hiking sticks etc.
would these items be cheaper in Thailand than in europe?
Do you know such a shop in bangkok or chiang mai?
Khob khun mak khrab!

I’m flying end April/beginning May – probably spend a few days in Bangkok then heading for Chiang Mai – I don’t expect the last word in comfort but would like a room to myself – is it realistic to find something for £10 a night?
